Bahya ben Joseph ibn Pakuda (Ibn Bakuda, Ibn Pakuda, Bahya)
(fl. 11th cent.)
   Spanish moral philosopher. He lived in Zaragoza. In Duties of the Heart he examined the obligations of the inner life which he regarded as having equal importance with ritual and ethical observances; this work draws on Islamic mysticism and Neoplatonism.
